i can't find anywhere that acts like an about me/self-bio section, so i figured i would use the first journal entry as such.
the biggest fact about me is most likely going to sound really cheesy, but i am a vampire.
there are more of us than you expect, but don't feel threatened, we don't bite. (that much.)
realizing this has been a big step in finding myself and the track i want to go on as an individual, and i have finally dared to go out into the light, and come out as being one.
we are really no different from you humans, except from some slight things that ill spare you the messy details about.
if you have questions, ill be glad to exchange emails and answer them, I'm pretty open about it, decidedly.
I'm sorry if i ever offend you by going off on my little vampire rants, but humans can be pretty damn stupid sometimes, and i have NO trouble at all saying it, and being blunt about it, so just apologizing ahead of time.
im hoping that by finally coming out, many others will be encourage to join me, and that there will be no troubles with society knowing what we are.

vampire.
its a pretty loose term when you think about it, really.
it has so many different social vibes attached to it, that it has become a tall tale of media and fiction fans, and we have forgotten what a vampire truly is.
then again, it is easier for me to say that because i see life from the eyes of one.
being a vampire is no different from being a human. we are really no different, aside from a few genetic flaws that really suck ass.
we have a heartbeat, we have to eat human food to survive, and we do sleep at night, although any would say they are more inclined to sleep during the day hours. unfortunately, living in a diurnal world, its pretty hard to cause of all the freaking NOISE!
anyways, the big difference is senses. as a human would smell, taste and hear in a way that could be described as a cube, a vampire would so all those in a figure not unlike a twenty sided dice. much more complex, much to the frustration of cooks who try to add that little something, which is easily picked out by my taste buds.
the other main difference is the thirst. left unattended, it can drive one to the brink of insanity, until it is the only, all consuming thought. luckily there are people that know my not-so-secret and trust me enough to let me lean on them if the need arises.
so please, get to know me. im not a bad person, just a bit different.
